Stocks traded in the NEPSE are shortlisted via extensive study of its financials (Fundamental Analysis). This helps the managers identify the stock’s intrinsic value. The stocks are then shortlisted based on their beta value to determine its co-relation with the overall market (Stock Selection). Since ARKS strategy is based on short term market movements, stocks with a beta of less than 1 are usually not selected in this process.

Furthermore, on-going technical analysis customized as per the volume of the NEPSE index allows investment managers to identify short term trends in the market (Technical Analysis). This information is further combined with general market perception attained through brokers, analysts and large market players (Market Perception). The research process is then deemed complete, and a decision to buy or sell is generated and passed on to the client.
